Bronzeville Etudes & Riffs is inspired by the visage and voices of our antecedents, the creators of the Black Metropolis, and the Chicago Renaissance, who were compelled and inspired by the Great Migration, yet persevered and thrived in spite of the Great Depression and Jim Crow segregation.
